Jahinje noor manjhan narvaani noorani subhaan sunjhaan;
Jot jari jagdish je banda mahajot ji kar tun jaan. Katro boond bharyaal jahinje manjh smajh samundar soi sultaan; Phahanje jins san jujab theyan layai behar sandho tun paayaj gyaan. Nirankar ji jins roop ton nir-aakaar ji samajh paraay; Chahve avtar tan raz gaib lay satgur charni sees jhukaay. |

O' man, know the Divine Light of which every living being is a spark;
Know the Supreme Light God of which the human being is a part; Know the Supreme Ocean wherein lie the tiny drops; Know about this Ocean of which you are a drop, so that you can merge with the same. You can know about the Formless from His human form; Avtar says, in order to know the divine secret, you must bow your head at the feet of the True Master. |
Meaning
This verse encourages every human being to know its origin with the help of the True Master. O' Man, know the Divine Light of which you are a ray. O' man know the super power of which you are a part. O' man know the ocean of which you are a drop. O'man know the super form into which you will merge one day. You see the formless one only through the true master. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, come bow your head once in front of the True Master and know the divine secret.
